Chiltern Pay Offer

Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2011 – Chiltern Railways (BR2/0001/CR)
Negotiations have been held with the company and the following offer has been made:-
· A one-year, no-strings offer covering 1st April 2011 – 31st March 2012 of 4% or a minimum of £800 whichever is greater.
The General Grades Committee have considered the offer and they have taken the following decision:-
“We note the latest correspondence from the Regional Organiser in relation to the pay and conditions offer, accordingly, we instruct the General Secretary to inform the company of our rejection of the offer.
A personal letter to go to all of our reps at Chiltern, including health and safety reps, notifying them of the latest position. Relevant branches and regional councils to be informed.”
I am acting in accordance with this decision and I will update you on further developments.
